Corona Nimbus is a stoner / sludge metal band from northeastern Brazil formed by Júlio Baros, Junior Vieira and guest musicians.

The band brings in the sound the burning weight of the arid flanks of the northeast region and, at the same time, the numbing sound waves of the floods that wash their bodies year after year! Like a strong storm that arrives on sunny days without warning, Corona Nimbus explores the concept of duality expressed by the members, using references such as yin and yang, the old and the new, the heavy and the light, the desert heat and the cold from the ocean depths.

Formed in June 2019, Corona Nimbus released their first single entitled "Path to Self" in September of the same year, a work that attracted notoriety in their region. In October they released the second single called "Beyond Caos" with the participation of Cris Botarelli from the band Farm from Alaska, which leveraged the band nationally and went against the interests of the Electric Funeral Records label which signed a distribution agreement for the album that has already was in the final stage of production.

The first self-titled disc 'Corona Nimbus' was recorded at Studio 202 and released on February 7, 2020. It features Arthur Moreira (bass), Lucas Di Matos (drums), pre-production and drums by Nildo Gonzalez in addition to synthesizers, keyboards , mix and master by Iago Guimarães from Casinha Lab.

Corona Nimbus has performed at the main festivals in your region and surroundings, it is a national highlight in a very short time of existence, becoming one of the new bets of music in the country!
